Club Rules


AMCI was formed on 15th September 2007 and is run by a committee known as the Crew.The Crew are the founding members and are not elected. We meet regularly to discuss club business and sort out any problems. The Crew have final say in any club matters and are the only ones who can speak for AMCI or decide on any issues.


AMCI Club Charter

The rules and charter of the club are defined by the word RESPECT

• Respect for other AMCI members
• Respect for other clubs and their members
• Respect for other road users and members of the public
• Respect for other peoples interests and values
• Respect for other peoples vehicles
• Respect for the AMCI club


Any member found to be in breach of this charter either at an event or on the website or members who do not act within the rules of the website may be subject to suspension and/or dismissal from the club.

All events/ meets, posted on this site will be organised and run by An AMCI Crew Member.
Standard members themselves/users must not under any circumstances organise any events without clearance first From a Crew Member.


Site Posting Rules

Lets keep this simple most of you coming to this little piece of cyberspace will understand that every board you'v been on has its RULES and here can be no exception. Apart from the user agreement you accepted when you registered... these are the 3 golden ones for this forum..

1... The use of vulgar or bad language is totally unnecessary please do not use it in Any Post.

2...no posting of inappropriate pictures/sexual/nude/cruelty/racist.!! You get the idea...... I'm sure we all know where this type of rubbish can lead to.

3...remember every thing that you post someone else will read this also includes miners!! "little people" always bear this in mind when posting keeping it clean.

A.M.C.I does not assume any responsibility for the content of any message on these Forums. You (the user) remain solely responsible for the content of your posts and private messages to others.

Do not post

- Pornographic images or links
- Links to illegal discussion or activity (including illegal software)
- Messages that are classed as spam or provocative
- Swearing, and do not circumvent the swear filters in place
- Political, Religious, Racist or Controversial topics or reply's
- Private Individuals personal information (Phone Numbers/Addresses/Photos etc) without their prior permission
- Personal attacks against others, including "naming and shaming"

Avatars

Avatars are allowed on our Forum, you can add an avatar using the options in your Profile Control Panel.
Inappropriate ones will be removed by the mods or admins without warning!!!
and may result in the ability for you to use an avatar, So be careful!!!
Admin has final say.

Signatures

These are turned on at present but please do not abuse them . Keep signatures to a minimium size, if your signature uses huge amounts of space you will be asked to remove it. For graphics please keep file size below 100k, and the total signature size should be no more than 3 lines of text. Where possible use small font sizes for signatures - remember other users want to read posts, not threads where all of the content is dominated by huge signatures.
Inappropriate ones will be removed by the mods or admins without warning!!!
and may result in the ability for you to use signatures! , So be careful!!!
Admin has final say.


Images in posts

We all like to post and view photo's of Cars and photo's from events. However, not everyone uses high resolution Monitors or has fast Internet Connections. As such, please make sure images are no larger than 650 pixels wide by 450 pixels high.
Any pics bigger may be removed with out warning!!!
Inappropriate ones may get you banned.

What happens if I break a rule?



If you have broken a rule, a Moderator or Administrator will delete or edit the offending post or thread. Moderators and Administrators will not contact you to tell you of the editing or deletion.

Please dont repost the same thread/post if it has been removed as this will count against you. Posting 'Where has my thread/post gone' is also going to count against you.

If you repeatedly break the rules detailed above, you can have your account suspended or possibly banned. You will be contacted via the e-mail address you registered with to inform you as to the reasons for the action.

I think I have been harshly/wrongly treated?


From time to time mistake's can happen , moderators are human and do make errors. If you feel this applies to you please contact the Administrator and it will be investigate for you. . DO NOT ABUSE A MOD if He/She has removed a post!! There not here to be abused... but to make sure this is a user-friendly environment for us all to enjoy.

Again please remember this is a family site and has lots of little people using it.
posting of any inappropriate material unsuitable for the age of 13 years old and under will be removed
and may result in you being banned from the site!!!!
do not test me on this, I am very protective of our junior members.

warning system
there is a warning system in place on the site,where users can report a post
they deem offensive,when a post is reported it immediately flashes up on an administrators screen
if this happens you will be contacted by an administrator or moderator.
if the post warrants a warning it will be issued, you are allowed a maximum of three warnings
after which you will be permanently banned. regardless of the user status.

Amendment of Rules


A.M.C.I... reserves the right to revise these rules if and when it is deemed necessary. All such modifications take full force and effect immediately thereafter.

The forums are here for you - please treat them and other members with respect. If you do this, the forums and it's members will treat you the same in return. Enjoy your time on the A.M.C.I... forum.
